The Black Hole Information Paradox, Complementarity or Firewalls?
Kuroush Allameh, Physics Undergraduate Student, Sharif University of Technology
For the past few decades, the question of a consistent theory of quantum gravity, has been one of the most important problems in physics. One of the striking predictions of semiclassical calculations in gravity is the Hawking radiation of a black hole. This radiation leads to the concept of evaporation and information paradox. Finding a solution for this paradox is one of the main pathways in finding a theory of quantum gravity. In these lectures the concepts of evaporation and information loss are discussed and some endeavors for solving this paradox are introduced.
