Cellular Automata: From Simplicity to Complexity
Fateme Ramezanzade, Physics Undergraduate Student, Sharif University of Technology
Cellular automata are computation models that could be useful for explaining complex systems. We are going to talk about the history of their invention and how they changed our perspective of complexity. Then we’ll take a look into Wolfram’s “Elementary CA” and Conway’s “Game of Life” and some of their implications for everyday systems.
